When I decided that I wanted to help fix this broken country, it occurred to me that I was completely politically illiterate… So I started studying and I realized that there was no resource for people like me.
Most resources were over my non-politically savvy head… So, I decided to create a resource as I was learning for anyone who wants to join and learn how they can help understand and fix things too.
My personal goal is to inspire, empower and educate people to become more active in politics.
In an ideal world, I can help create a movement of practical, open-minded, courageous people who will work together to move this country in a positive, collaborative direction.
My motto is Country over Party, State over Party and most importantly Integrity over Party.

More About Prop 4
Most Texans, including democrats, do not want a State Income Tax. I am not a democrat or a republican. I have nothing against the republican party – what I do have a problem with is a political party intentionally manipulating people.
And this is what’s happening with Proposition 4.
It honestly should be called Propaganda 4.
I personally don’t have a strong opinion either way for or against a state income tax. That’s not the issue for me…
I have learned that we don’t need a constitutional amendment prohibiting a State Income tax because it’s already in our State Constitution since 1993 in the Bullock Amendment. Google it. I swear it’s the truth.
So I have been determined to make sense of why does this proposition even exist.? IF the corporate franchise tax is NOT the target of Proposition 4 as many of you say, then why is there all of this havoc over a state income tax?
What is the purpose of creating an amendment for something already amended 30 years ago. Why are we being told that we need to “protect ourselves from the big bad income tax?”
No one wants one!! You might be told otherwise, but I’m telling you the truth…. Democrats don’t want an income tax. Over 70% of Texans oppose an income tax – including democrats – so look at the truth which is that we’re mostly all on the same side.
If I’m telling you the truth that Democrats are not fighting FOR a state income tax, and if we’re protected in the Texas constitution, why would someone go to the trouble with Proposition 4?
Think about this and consider for one moment that it serves someone to continue to divide us as Texans. The more divided we are, the more chaotic we are, the more incapable we are of not working together as a united state with the potential of a drama-free mostly united voice.
This proposition is just manipulation unnecessary bullshit. We are being herding us against each other like cows and we’re allowing it to happen.
More things like this are going to start happening and we need to sit up and pay attention.
We are a swing state now in a toxic corrupt political environment.
Being a swing state is a privilege and with that privilege comes the responsibility to make really thoughtful and informed votes because the future of our entire country depends on us, as state, to be able to vote thoughtfully and reasonably.
All of us, natives and transplants, red and blue – progressives and conservatives – the atheists and the baptists – black white hispanic – bring it on – we need to work together and not let party politics divide us.
This 2020 election could tear Texas apart – even more than we already are – if we allow ourselves to be manipulated into choosing sides.
I know it’s really hard for those of us who believe in integrity and kindness to accept or conceive that there are people who will do anything to win or have control.
but our future as a cohesive state depends on all of us being able to not only accept that there is corruption but we need to have the courage and the humility and the accountability to call it out even if it is corruption in your own party or even if it’s someone you may have voted for – someone who obviously did not deserve the privilege of your vote. And we have know that right now, our vote in Texas is a privilege.
Integrity and honesty has no party. No one wins if we continue to choose and vote within parties.
Proposition 4 is strategic propaganda to wreak havoc and make sure that the red side thinks the blue wants a State Income Tax because blue’s are all socialists…
and the blues are programmed to think that the red’s are all greedy white capitalists with a gun under their pillow.
It’s this kind of bullshit that’s killing us as a country….and especially as a state…
I believe that if we all choose what’s honest and right then we will all meet at the same place.
We are not that different. And I believe at our core, we all want the same things.
Let’s stand up together as United Texans and vote against this divisive piece of unnecessary legislation.
Please choose State over Party in 2020 and vote no on proposition 4.
